Welcome to ChinaitechPay ("we," "us," "our"), a virtual currency exchange service available through the ChinaitechPay.com website, our physical offices, or other official means (the "Service").

By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and AML/CFT Policy. These documents form a legally binding agreement between you (the "User") and ChinaitechPay. Our services are available to residents of the United Kingdom, Nigeria, China, Uganda, Zambia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Ghana, and all other African countries, as well as users worldwide where legally permitted.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Service.

2.1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the full legal capacity to enter into this agreement. You agree to use our Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the Service is not prohibited by your local laws.

2.2. One Account Per User Policy

ChinaitechPay enforces a strict policy of one account per individual or legal entity. Creating or using multiple accounts ("multi-accounting") for any reason is strictly prohibited.

  • If we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have created or are operating multiple accounts, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate any and all of your accounts.
  • In such cases, we may also freeze the funds within these accounts and, depending on the severity of the violation, forfeit any remaining balances as a penalty for breaching these Terms.

2.3. Your Account Responsibilities

You are solely and fully responsible for your account and agree to the following:

  • Accurate Information: You must provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during registration and promptly update it as necessary.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for creating a strong password and safeguarding it, along with any two-factor authentication (2FA) codes. Do not share your login details with any third party.
  • Account Activity: You accept full responsibility for all activities and transactions that occur under your account, whether or not authorized by you.
  • Notification of Breach: You must notify us immediately at Customers@ChinaitechPay.com of any suspected unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.
  • Lawful Use: You will not use your account for any illegal, fraudulent, or prohibited activities as outlined in these Terms.

2.4. Refund Policy

If you request a refund, we will endeavor to process it for an additional fee. However, kindly inform us in advance if this is feasible, as sending a refund without our authorization may result in financial loss.

Typically, the fee is approximately 5% of the payment amount, but it cannot be less than 5 USD. The same applies to accepting a payment in an incorrect (unspecified) currency, an unspecified amount, or an incorrect payment type. Read Our Refund Policy

In the event of cryptocurrency exchanges and fluctuations in exchange rates, our service reserves the right to apply the cryptocurrency exchange rate to USD at our discretion, either on the day of the exchange or on the day of the refund request.

ChinaitechPay provides a platform for the exchange of virtual currencies and fiat currencies. Our services include Fiat-to-Crypto, Crypto-to-Fiat, and Crypto-to-Crypto exchanges.

3.1. Transaction Finality

You acknowledge and agree that all cryptocurrency transactions are, by their nature, irreversible and final once they have been confirmed on the blockchain network. We have no ability to reverse or cancel transactions that have been broadcast to the network. You are responsible for providing the correct wallet address.

3.2. AML & KYC Compliance

(Anti-Money Laundering) and (Know Your Customer), As a financial service, we are required by law to conduct customer due diligence. You must comply with all requests to provide information, documentation, or identity verification (KYC). Failure to comply will result in the refusal of service and potential suspension of your account. Read our AML Policy

The virtual currency market is highly volatile. The exchange rate is typically locked in at the moment we receive your funds in full, not at the time you create the order. A full breakdown of fees will be disclosed to you before you confirm any transaction.

By using PayPal for transactions on our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following conditions:

The term “PayPal is for everyone who pays or gets paid” (e.g., Croatia) indicates the possibility of accepting payments, while “PayPal is for everyone who pays online” (e.g., Belarus) signifies the inability to receive payments. If your account meets any of the criteria outlined on the page paypal.com/us/brc/article/funds-availability, the payment system will hold the payment for 21 days.

To attempt to remove the hold entirely or reduce its duration, please refer to the following link: Under your responsibility, we can top up the accounts that do not have the “Trusted Seller” status. However, we do not provide any guarantees regarding the early withdrawal of the hold or its reduction. All actions are at your own risk and discretion. Typically, funds are sent to you as “digital items/services/goods.” By agreement or at our discretion, we can also send money as “personal.”

ChinaitchPay will send PayPal funds through “Selling goods and services, the transaction fee is variable from 2.9 % to 5.9 % + 0.30 $ fixed fee.

ChinaitechPay can send PayPal funds via “Friends and Family” upon request for those who cannot receive via the “Goods and Services” methods. For that, customers can get in touch with ChianitechPay’s support team to make an inquiry. Furthermore, the customer who is receiving PayPal funds via “Friends and Family” must agree to the terms and conditions that are sent to them via email.

Customers must provide ChinaitechPay with a valid and active PayPal account capable of receiving the funds without limitations.

In case of a failure to send funds to the provided PayPal account, ChinaitechPay team will notify the customer and contact them in order to receive the correct address. However, should the customer fail to get in contact with ChinaitechPay, the assets will be frozen until ChinaitechPay can communicate with the customer.

ChinaitechPay will keep the assets frozen in case a transaction fails to go through. Although ChinaitechPay does not provide refunds, in case a refund is approved by the platform, all fees and charges will be deducted from the original amount.

PayPal can hold the transferred assets from 24 hours to 21 days for a confirmation. If the confirmation button is accessible from our side, we will confirm the payment quickly. Otherwise, customers will have to wait for PayPal to unhold the sent amount.

ChinaitechPay will not be accountable in case the users PayPal account gets limited by PayPal due to any reason. But in case of such incidents happening, you can always contact ChinaitechPay Support team to guide you for lifting the limitations.

There are a variety of reasons why PayPal may limit an account. The reasons below are some of the more common reason:

  1. You are new to receiving payments via PayPal.
  2. Your account was inactive for a long time.
  3. Your previous customers filed formal complaints for a refund, dispute, or chargeback.
  4. You have a suspicious selling pattern due to PayPal algorithms.
  5. You are selling riskier items.

5.1. Acknowledgment of PayPal Risks

  1. Verified Account Required: To minimize risks and ensure smooth transactions, please make sure your PayPal account is fully verified. A verified account increases the likelihood that PayPal will restore access to blocked funds in case of any issues.
  2. PayPal’s Authority to Block Funds: You understand that PayPal reserves the right to block, hold, or reverse any funds sent to us at their sole discretion due to security concerns, policy violations, or other reasons.
  3. No Guarantee of Service if Funds Are Blocked: If PayPal blocks the funds you send to us, we will not be able to process your payment or complete the transaction. In such cases, you will not receive the intended service unless the issue with PayPal is resolved.
  4. Dispute Resolution Guidance: In the event that PayPal blocks your funds, we may guide you through the process of opening a dispute with PayPal. However, the outcome of the dispute is solely determined by PayPal, and we cannot guarantee a favorable resolution.
  5. Your Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring your PayPal account complies with all of PayPal’s terms and policies. We are not liable for any losses or delays resulting from issues with your account.
  6. Risk Acknowledgment: By proceeding, you acknowledge the inherent risks of using PayPal and agree that we are not responsible for any losses or delays caused by PayPal’s actions.

5.2. PayPal Refund Rules

Please be advised that immediate refunds for transactions made via PayPal are not possible. Due to the inherent risks, all PayPal refunds require a processing period of 4 to 7 working days. Refunds are subject to a fee of 15% of the transaction amount (minimum $15 USD).

ChinaitechPay reserves the right to approve or disapprove all PayPal refund requests based on the circumstances.

In case the customer’s PayPal account cannot receive funds and the payment is suspended, , the platform will refund the amount received in our account and ChinaitechPay is not responsible for PayPal fees deducted from the customer’s account after receiving the amount.

When sending any form of cryptocurrency to Chinaitechpay wallets, customers must attach a screenshot of their wallet that includes the TXID.

A cryptocurrency exchange order without TXID or other required information included in the screenshot, will lead to suspending the order from Chinaitechpay until the customer provides a screenshot with all required data.

All cryptocurrency exchange orders will be processed after the transferred crypto assets are received in Chinaitechpay wallets. Every Crypto exchange order must be paid in less than 20-minutes.

Chinaitechpay will transfer the exchanged amount to the designated account stated by the customer. The exchanged assets are exactly based on the amount received in the wallet.

Cryptocurrency exchanges are non-refundable. Crypto transactions are irreversible and can only be refunded by the receiving party. In case there is a refund request submitted by the customer, Chinaitechpay reserves the right to approve or disapprove the request based on the circumstances.

In case the customer has failed to deliver the funds to Chinaitechpay wallet address, a refund will not be accepted.

In case the customer has successfully sent funds to Chinaitechpay’s wallet, they can submit a refund request to the support team. Generally speaking, the associated fees and a possible penalty can be reduced from the initial transaction amount from the party who is at fault for the refunded order. The customers must pay close attention to the data provided by Chinaitechpay including first name, last name, Routing Number, Account Number, IBAN, email address, etc. In case the customer fails to make a transaction based on the correct information provided by the platform, Chinaitechpay will not have any responsibility for the loss of funds.

The bank account provided by Chinaitechpay platform will only be valid for 2 hours. If the customer requires more time to make the payment, they must reach out to the Chinaitechpay support team.

Chinaitechpay will only accept a bank receipt or a screenshot of the payment receipt prov ided by the bank as a valid proof of payment.

Customers must send the currency that is chosen in the exchange process. In case a customer sends another type of currency that is not selected in the order, Chinaitechpay platform will first convert the received currency to the currency selected in the exchange order. By doing so, the exchange and network fees for the conversion will be applied to the order and charged from the customer.

In case the bank transfer from the customer is suspended by the bank, (for security reasons or other) Chinaitechpay will not make the payment to the customers as long as their bank transfer is pending. If the bank transfer is rejected by the bank, Chinaitechpay will not process the order and will not send any funds to the customer.

You are forbidden from using the Service for any unlawful activity, including but not limited to money laundering, fraud, terrorist financing, or supporting illegal gambling. A full list of prohibited activities can be found in our AML/CFT Policy.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend, deactivate, or terminate your access to the Service at any time and for any reason, particularly in cases of a breach of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or as required by law or law enforcement. Below are common, but not exhaustive, reasons for such actions.

9.1. Voluntary Account Closure

If you choose to close your account and successfully complete the process, your account will be permanently deactivated. This is a standard procedure and is not considered a penalty.

9.2. Multiple Failed or Timed-Out Exchange Attempts

To maintain platform integrity and security, our systems monitor transaction activity. Multiple consecutive failed or timed-out exchange attempts may trigger automated security protocols, leading to a temporary suspension of your account. This is a precautionary measure to protect against potential unauthorized access or technical manipulation. You may be required to contact customer support to resolve the issue.

9.3. Verification Mismatch

As part of our Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) obligations, we require you to verify your identity. If the verification documents you provide (such as a government-issued ID) do not clearly match the selfie you submit, your account will be suspended pending a manual review. If the discrepancy cannot be resolved or is indicative of a fraudulent attempt to create an account, we will proceed with permanent deactivation.

9.4. Detection of Duplicate or Multiple Accounts

As stated in Section 2.2, our policy strictly prohibits any individual or entity from operating more than one account. Our systems actively work to identify linked or duplicate accounts. If we detect that you are controlling or have created more than one account, all associated accounts will be immediately and permanently deactivated. This is a serious violation of our Terms of Service.

9.5. Handling of Funds in Closed Accounts

In the event that your account is deactivated or terminated by us while it holds a positive balance, we will make a reasonable effort to contact you via your registered email address to arrange for the withdrawal of your funds. You will be provided with a thirty (30) day window from the date of our notification to initiate the withdrawal process. Failure to initiate the withdrawal within this 30-day period may result in additional administrative fees or the forfeiture of the funds, in accordance with applicable laws.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChinaitechPay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChinaitechPay from any claims or damages arising from your violation of these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of United Kingdom, China, Nigeria and Ghana. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts in Accra, Ghana. We may amend these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Report any unauthorized transactions or errors within seven days to qualify for protection. Prompt reporting limits your liability.

These Terms, in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entirety of the agreement between you and ChinaitechPay. No third party shall be granted any rights under these Terms. You may pay for the requisites provided by us within approximately 24 hours. Kindly inform us of your payment status after the transaction. If the requisites become obsolete, we will cancel the exchange request and notify you accordingly. In such a case, please refrain from making any payment, as you may incur financial losses.
